I refuse to be influenced by the masters. Even though I greatly admire Dali, Picaso and the color and  line of Dufy. I belive in mixing media as long as they have a similar base, such as rustoleum and oil  paint or ink and gouache. Basically, I use two or three colors in a painting. At times though I must admit in having gone in the opposite direction by exploding my canvases with color. I create because my imagination needs a visual expression.
